Allegations are flying about people exploiting the voting process of people with cognitive disabilities.

Either you are an adult citizen with all the responsibilities and rights that entails or you aren't. Much like statutory rape laws, voting age, and driving licenses we have arbitrary standards you have to follow if you are going to avoid a soft anarchy.

If someone is in a group home and drawing disability because of a cognitive problem these people are not allowed to enter themselves into contracts, engage in legal sexual relations, or do anything else that a nine year old child isn't allowed to do.

So why are these people on the voting roles if not to put a thumb on the scales of our system.
