  1. The one in the red yukata with the diamond on her forehead, is doing a cosplay from the very long running manga Ah! My Goddess.(the forehead mark is that of Goddess Peorth) The manga ran for 25 years, and was (and still is) one of my favorites. The Anime ran for 4 seasons + a feature film. The Anime and film are only "sorta" based on the Manga. They are still very good, Just a different story in many ways. The Manga revolves around a love story between Hopeless Virgin and engineering student Kiichi(K 1) Morisato and the Goddess Belldandy. Who live together with Belldandy's sisters (and goddesses) Urd and Skuld in an old temple, And racing, and half dressed goddesses. And motorbikes, and more half dressed goddesses, and LOTS more racing, and angels and demons, the almighty and the devil herself. All of whom , work to test K1 and Belldandy to see if this mere human is worthy of a goddess. It is a REALLY good adventure yarn. Over the 25 year run the drawings change, But the dedication to hyper-detailed presentation of the clothing, bikes, cars, and "Tech" of the 1980's-2000's never falters. The manga is one of the very few that got better with age and ended really well. ---Ray

  2. The art for "Ah! My Goddess" changes radically over the run of the manga. There are four changes so radical it looks like a different book. ---Ray
