So the only "gun guy" that senatorial aspirant Lucas (D)Kunce could come up with for his photo op turned reporter shooting appears to be a prohibited person on account of being on bond for seventeen counts of felony perjury in relation to a child abuse case:

As Kunce and Kinzinger were shooting, Downs remained nearby. Before the event, Downs spoke with a Star photojournalist, saying that the range was his but that the event was taking place at his neighbor’s residence.

Downs said he lived “across the way” and said his neighbor allows him to shoot on the property. He showed The Star firearms that were on the table that belonged to him.

Missouri court records show that Downs was charged with 17 counts of felony perjury in August by Ray County Prosecutor Camille Johnston. He has been issued a criminal summons and waived his preliminary hearing. His ex-wife in a court filing earlier this month alleged the man owns or has access to guns in violation of his bond conditions. Downs said Thursday there are no restrictions on his firearm ownership or possession.

The allegations of perjury involve statements Downs made in a felony child abuse case, according to a probable cause affidavit signed by an investigator in the prosecutor’s office. The affidavit includes a case number for the child abuse case, but it doesn’t appear in Casenet, Missouri’s electronic court records system.

When The Star called the Ray County Circuit Clerk’s Office, the person who answered said the case had been dismissed. After a reporter identified himself, a voice was heard in the background instructing the person not to speak, saying “that is not an open record.” Downs said a jury had acquitted him.

Now I'm sure the fair minded national press with ask him and his J6 mega-RINO buddy about just how they came to Mr. Downs acquaintance and will treat any answers to that question with due credulity. "White Dudes for Harris" sure does include some interesting people doesn't it?

Perhaps this doesn't rise to the level of Accessory to illegal gun possession, but Trump was Drum-head courted in NYC on something flimsier. So under the "New Rules".......

Show Me You Don't Actually Shoot Steel Regularly

This sounds like the man who would like to represent me in the Senate tried to show off how tough and manly he is without understanding what happens when you shoot hardened steel targets.

Missouri Democratic Senate candidate Lucas Kunce is under fire after a bullet fragment from his gun struck a nearby reporter, who had to be provided first aid.

Since this is a D range safety fail I'm sure we won't be seeing a map of the the shooter, target, and press position.

As we approach November 5th, there is an election scenario that is firming up as the most likely result. I personally view the following as 80% likely to be the final result:

There are several factors that go into this, but at the end of the day the 312 EV win is still the most likely result, even if there are shifts in demographics or Harris were to win the popular vote by 1 or 2%.
