Since We Have to Buy Things

Well since we can be "taxed" if we don't buy a product, I hereby demand a $1000 per year per adult tax upon anyone who doesn't own a pistol, rifle, and ammunition for them. I know I'm not the first to say this but I am quite serious about this. This is due to the logic that the government would have to to spend extra money to protect such sheeple.

  1. I like it - it has a sort of twisted (il)logical sense of 'reasonableness' to it. If a person is unable or unwilling to protect them-self from murderers, thieves, rapists and burglars, why shouldn't they have to pay a 'fine' for overuse of limited law enforcement resources (not to mention the courts, parole, probation and detention workers).

    1. Of course in Libertarianopia or the Freehold of Grainne none of this would be needed because everyone would be left to take care of things themselves.
