Kind of being pedantic here but the Navy has Ratings to describe their jobs, not MOS.I was a CE (Construction Electrician) in the SeaBees.The guys firing that cannon are probably GMs (Gunner Mates).
Sorry, I'll update the title. I just thought the mental picture of, "Chief, make some space for me to pull in." was humorous.

It looks like the 1st Class in the photo is a YN.
I'll confess this is more intended as a "humorous" post.
Found the original pic, zoomed in and the 1st class is a GM.The gun is a 40mm Saluting cannon, these are made to fire blanks only.
Awww, that's not as much fun as putting a few shells in a mega-yacht.
