The anime stops at book six. The Manga is currently at the end of book six, but if they don't get a scanlation group that knows what its doing I'll never live see the end of it. Even if I go into remition. They got the terminal "slows" --There is a group that is Re-publishing and selling "Gate Thus the JSDF fought there" in ENGLISH!! The full Manga. Novel and light novel. They are on book two of the manga and having a "crash and burn" with the publisher. They say they won't offer it for sale until it is "Perfect". I suspect more dire motives. Possible Chinese involvement.(they hate this book and have tried repeatedly to kill it in international court). Only time will tell.---Ray
Gate can be watched free of charge on "KissAnime" It can also be read free of charge on "Mangakakalot". MOST The light novel is translated and published ,and currently up on "Skythwood Translation".----Ray
Homer and Bart may have just topped the all time ten best Anime satire. ---Ray
ReplyDeleteCool, Gate just came onto Amazon Prime so I finally got to see more than just clips of it. Pretty entertaining.

DeleteGiven that Gate has actually boosted JSDF recruitment I don't doubt the Chinese hate it quite a lot.
DeleteI really like the last one. It reminds me of Terry Prachett’s DEATH character from the Disc World novels.
ReplyDeleteDuh! Just saw the watermark at the bottom. No wonder it looked familiar.
