So about that MeToo Moral High Ground

So it comes out (actually has been out for a long time) Deval Patrick fired some of the people who were in charge of the Massachusetts sex offender registry when he was governor. Because they wanted to make his brother-in-law register for a rape committed in California.

. . . On Monday, Patrick, still seething over the story eight years later, explained his recent decision to remove the top two officials at the state Sex Offender Registry Board, saying they improperly tried to force his brother-in-law to register as a sex offender.
In his first public comments on the shakeup at the agency, Patrick blamed the officials, his own appointees, for a number of other problems, including failing to update regulations and fostering an unproductive work environment. But he made it clear, as he prepares to leave office, that he is still nursing wounds from his first political campaign.
Blaming the Herald and the Republican Party for the revelation, Patrick said the disclosure that his brother-in-law had been convicted of raping his wife, Patrick’s sister, more than a decade earlier in California “nearly destroyed their lives.”
Not only that after all of this the brother-in-law goes and does it again!

A Norfolk Superior Court judge sentenced a Milton man on Monday to six to eight years in prison for kidnapping and raping his ex-wife, former Gov. Deval Patrick’s sister — even though prosecutors asked for 17 to 22 years and the victim said she is “terrified” at the prospect of his release.
And this is the Democrat's sane and mainstream hope? If it weren't for double standards some people wouldn't have any standards at all.

  1. They're getting desperate. Desperate people do desperate things. Gonna get real ugly.

  2. Gonna get Her Heinous the Crone of Chappaqua ugly.

I can easily see her announcing, as the current field collapses, "...I am putting forth my name as a candidate for the 2020 election reluctantly, and with a heavy heart, but out of patriotism and love of country I cannot stand by while an illegitimate President Trump destroys this country. Nobody is above the law, and the Constitution must be upheld."

    1. I don't take suckers bets, we'll really know she's in if Joe has his first official brain aneurysm since the 80s. ;)

    2. Some states have already closed the date for being on the ballet. If she's on those ballets you know she's had plans for a while or someone played fast and loose with filling dates.
