Today Americans celebrate(with cheap tacos and tequila), because every nation needs a holiday to celebrate beating on the French (the Germans admittedly got carried away with this), and we haven't had the occasion (yet).
Admittedly, my grasp of Mexican history is sadly lacking, but wasn't our war with Mexico in the 1840's when it was ruled by the French? Maybe not, based on a quick internet search.
And then there was the French and Indian War of the early 1750's and 1760's (though we were under British colonial rule at that time). Does that count? https://www.frenchandindianwarsociety.org/timeline/

Napoleon III was savvy enough to wait until we were at war with ourselves before crossing the Monroe doctrine.
DeleteAs for the French and Indian War we were still technically Brits at the time and it was part of a larger conflict.
About as close as we've come is the post revolution "Quasi-War" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quasi-War
