This comment addresses the third from last. If this was the case Israel would not have experienced 10-7. Israel is leftist and has some of the strictest gun control in existence. These are reservists who are required to be armed. We have 30k officer PDs we don't need the NG or Reservists to be armed, however it is OUR FUNDIMENTAL GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO KEEP AND BARE ARMS, as such I chose to protect those I love and not leave it up to someone else.
