Pepperbox's had a tendency to have all their barrels go off at one time: apparently it was not a fun experience.
But look at the picture. It is not super clear, but it looks like it has two side by side magazines, not a double stack. Looks like you have a left-handed and right-handed pistol welded together. That has to be a bear to get a hold on.
So...What happens if you don't pull both triggers at the same time?

DeleteThe Fonz is warming up his motorcycle ;)
ReplyDeleteHeyyyeeeee!!!
DeleteI was wondering the same thing as KurtP and also thinking that grip would be so huge that I would never feel comfortable holding it.
ReplyDeleteThe vid does show him shooting it, and apparently the triggers are linked. As to grip size I'd imagine it would help to have magnum sized...hands.
DeleteHe's certainly compensating for something else that isn't magnum sized...
DeleteI guess if you had hands the size of an NBA player.
ReplyDeleteToo be fair my wife who has teeny tiny hands can handle the single stack 1911 wonderfully.
DeleteDid you flunk 'PISTOL'S I-A?????

I made a comment, and it disappeared?
DeleteA shorter one, more to the point.
It does not look like a double stack, but rather like two single stacks (one right and one left handed) welded toghether.
That would be a brute to handle.
Also most pepper boxes were tiny because they were rather unweldy. And flashover occassionaly ignited all the barrels at one time.
Weird Russel it looks like both of your comments ended up posting.
