Am I the only one who finds this ominous?

And who suddendly thinks he doesn't have nearly enough bird-shot in his doomsday bunker?

  1. Crap.
It's like something out of Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash.

    Creepy.

    1. Or Neuromancer by William Gibson.

If you haven't read that it manages to predict the web(in pretty accurate ways) back in 1984.

    2. Read it.

      Very good story.

Handily beat out by Stephenson's "Diamond Age"

Can you tell I'm a Neal Stephenson fan?
He peaked at Cryptonomicon, then slid into the pit of "The Baroque Cycle" (Not my thing)
Anathem was not bad at all, if a bit slow.
Looking forward to getting a copy of "Reamde". Sounds like he's getting back into his older (better) style.

    3. I'll have to look into those.

I'm currently eagerly awaiting "Rising Tide" from David Webber.

  4. OK that is legitimately cool. I wonder what kind of payload a little thing like that is capable of carrying, other then a small camera.

    1. There are slightly larger ones(search quad-copter on Youtube), that seem able to carry more.
