Homeless druggie in LA pulls a baby out of a stroller and slings him into a lamp-post. We don't live in Mayberry and even it never was what people thought it was.

I even realize how paranoid it sounds that my firearm goes on my belt in the morning and only comes off when I go to bed. I have to reply with a quote from Tolkien:
