Gun Control Doesn't Lower Murder, That's Umpossible.
That radical right wing hillbilly institution Harvard has put forward a study showing that gun laws don't affect murder rates, that faint popping noise you hear isn't your neighbor microwaving Orvel Reddenbacker, it's those pointy little heads in their ivory academic towers.

Well Obama is on the verge of suceeding where Chales Manson failed. With just the "if I had a son" press conference.

Police say two teens assaulted 88-year-old Delbert Belton outside the Eagles Lodge in North Spokane Wednesday night around 8pm....

Suspect |
Police have released surveillance photos of persons of interest in the homicide investigation. “They are described as young African American males of average build,” KHQ reports. They are believed to be between 16 to 19 in age and were wearing black clothes, while one suspect was seen wearing a black “do-rag,” according to police.
Separately-
A young white male was walking to his car on a city street late at night on August 12 when he was confronted by a trio of black individuals. They shot him dead. Police have arrested three people and charged them with first degree murder. But some in the victim’s family can’t understand why the shooting is being called a failed robbery when they say the evidence suggests something possibly more sinister: a hate crime. And what I've already wrote about-

Cult of Tacticool: Rail Mounted Holster
DHS Employing a Race Warrior
A Department of Homeland Security employee who works on, among other things, the procurement of guns and ammunition for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, spends his nights and weekends preparing for a coming race war and advocating for anti-gay causes, according to a new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center.
I'm not normally one to give much credence to the SPLC but this guy seems to be a couple of bricks shy. So can we get a physical audit of the millions of dollars of guns and ammo that the DHS has been buying so that we can make sure everything is still where it is supposed to be?
This guy is also just as nuts against gays as he is against whites so that just shows how poorly crazy fits into neat little boxes, and how screwed the castrated metro-sexual who takes the stand that there is no justification for defending yourself with deadly force and who thinks his political correctness will protect him.

Windsurfing Yachting Elitist Gigalo Doesn't Like the Peasants Having Internet.
“It [the internet] makes it much harder to govern, it makes it much harder to organize people, much harder to find the common interest and that is complicated by a rise of sectarianism and religious extremism that is prepared to employ violent means to impose on other people a way of thinking and a way of living that is completely contrary to everything the United States of America has ever stood for. So we need to keep in mind what our goals are and how complicated this world is that we’re operating in,” Kerry stated.Oh noes you might not be able to "govern" the people since they can see your lies and hypocricy.

- Deathbed confession that "ADHD is a prime example of a fictitious disease." for those of you who can't see through the internet this is my shocked face....really.
- Want to bolt a pound and a half of tacticool dumbo ears on your gun of course you do.
- Teachers unions acting like a cross between the mob and the clan burn down the garage of the the victim of one of their pedophile colleagues; still wearing my shocked face yep.
- Obama administration asks Supreme Court to allow warrantless cellphone searches, isn't this the same group that said the other party should be hung, drawn and quarterd, burn, beaten, and hung for listening the satphone calls out of Afghanistan and Pakistan just because the calls were going to Americans?
Mr. Obama if You Had Three More Sons....
We're Heading for Deep Organic Fertilizer
Since some of my readers are agrarian I figured some words to the wise about needing to stock up on fertilizer would be a good idea. Between the inflation and the hostility to agriculture we seem heading for the Zimbabwe plan.
Obama issued an Executive order on August 1, 2013 that will effectively ban Ammonium Nitrate in the USA. It will become too expensive and create too much possible civil and criminal liability to manufacture, store, or transport it. Clinton did the same thing to Anhydrous Ammonia dealers in 1999. It put most Anhydrous dealers out of business. Obama is imposing the same regs and adding explosives regulations on top of OSHA and EPA regulations. It’s all there if you know how to read bureacratese.
Food and Fuel prices will skyrocket because Ammonium Nitrate forms the basis for almost all nitrogen in granular fertilizers used in American farming. There are no cost and ease of manufacture/use equivalents for ammonium nitrate. Supply and demand economics are going to be the harsh lesson of the day. Crop yields will go down. Corn is the basis for the American food supply and the fuel additive ethanol. A.N. is critical in corn production.
Hope everyone is ready for $12/gallon gasoline and $20 a box corn flakes.
You know why NKoreans are starving?? Because they don’t have ammonium nitrate to fertilize their crops… so they have shi*ty yields…

Better Red Dawn Remake?
Spotted this at Toppless Robot:
One thing I never quite got about the original Red Dawn - these teens are living in the woods for months before seriously taking shit on, yet they never, ever think to make out with each other? Not even once?
Also, why not just stay in the woods longer? Well, there'd be no movie then. But that's why I dig the look of How I Live Now a bit more. It starts with romance in the woods - at least judging by the trailer - then World War III happens. I don't know from this who the bad guys are, and I don't care - the threat is tangible, unless they tell us late in the game that North Korea invaded Europe somehow, which I don't expect.
Saoirse Ronan is growing up fast. Watch after the jump and see what you think.

To Nerd Profile Myself.
I Am A: Neutral Good Human Wizard/Cleric (3rd/2nd Level)
Ability Scores:
Strength-14
Dexterity-15
Constitution-13
Intelligence-17
Wisdom-17
Charisma-12
Alignment:
Neutral Good A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment when it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.
Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.
Primary Class:
Wizards are arcane spellcasters who depend on intensive study to create their magic. To wizards, magic is not a talent but a difficult, rewarding art. When they are prepared for battle, wizards can use their spells to devastating effect. When caught by surprise, they are vulnerable. The wizard's strength is her spells, everything else is secondary. She learns new spells as she experiments and grows in experience, and she can also learn them from other wizards. In addition, over time a wizard learns to manipulate her spells so they go farther, work better, or are improved in some other way. A wizard can call a familiar- a small, magical, animal companion that serves her. With a high Intelligence, wizards are capable of casting very high levels of spells.
Secondary Class:
Clerics act as intermediaries between the earthly and the divine (or infernal) worlds. A good cleric helps those in need, while an evil cleric seeks to spread his patron's vision of evil across the world. All clerics can heal wounds and bring people back from the brink of death, and powerful clerics can even raise the dead. Likewise, all clerics have authority over undead creatures, and they can turn away or even destroy these creatures. Clerics are trained in the use of simple weapons, and can use all forms of armor and shields without penalty, since armor does not interfere with the casting of divine spells. In addition to his normal complement of spells, every cleric chooses to focus on two of his deity's domains. These domains grants the cleric special powers, and give him access to spells that he might otherwise never learn. A cleric's Wisdom score should be high, since this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.
